Charlotte found Bagel as a stunning looking 5yr, with the idea being for her to produce him as a Young Rider horse for Clemmie, who will take back the reins after she has finished school.
As is often the case with horses carrying a lot of Thoroughbred blood, Bagel was a little weak in his body as a young horse, but he is incredibly genuine and Charlotte believes he will be a real star when he has strengthened up and can really utilise his scope! 2022 saw him gain some good results and valuable experience at Novice level, as well as upgrade easily to Intermediate.
